It never ceases to amaze me how it is as though a switch goes off on that first day of school and fall truly arrives. No matter how warm and sunny it may be. Somehow those summer staples aren’t cutting it anymore and thoughts begin to turn very quickly to fall runways and deeper tones. Burgundy is consistently a classic fall hue, perhaps even more so this year. Hits of crimson and plum or entire spaces saturated in burgundy (even the ceiling!) are visually warm and enveloping.
Here are some chic examples of dramatic colour to mark the changing of the season.
PS. September is not only back to school but back to city life and of course, in Toronto, TIFF 2012 is well underway. What will your favourite entry be?
