It seems as though the light is doing that familiar shift and thoughts are turning far too soon to fall and back to school. What a phenomenal summer it has been! All of a sudden it doesn’t seem so ridiculous anymore to start taking a serious look at those fall issues that at first glance seemed so eager to capture our attention when it was far too hot to even contemplate anything heavier than a linen shift.
I am not quite ready to say goodbye yet to bare skin and sunsets on the dock but I know our time is short. Enjoy every minute of the “last gasp” and squeeze every last bit of summer out of August that you can. It’s not over quite yet so have those bonfires, catch the Picasso exhibit at the AGO before the 26th, picnic and day trip. We can postpone talking about fall and other current (but exciting) unmentionables like TIFF soon enough!
